My wife, Kyja, and I were introduced to the VW Camper scene by our friends Pete & Suzie back in June 2009 when they bought their VW T4, named Girtie.
Both of us grew up enjoying camping and boating holidays, so we felt it was the next natural step for us to purchase a camper. After five months and weeks of scouring the internet, we bought our first VW T4 (Croyde). Once converted, this sparked the idea for what would eventually become OXCampers!
Our dream at the time was to establish a business that could not only support our young family but also create lasting memories for our customers. As our business expanded, so did our hire fleet, and our 10-year plan was to own an entire fleet of brand new VWs.
Fast forward a decade, and our dream has become a reality. We now have one T6 and four T6.1s in our fleet.
All of our campervans can comfortably accommodate four people. Despite their size, they are fully equipped with everything you need, and there's plenty of storage space for your belongings. If we could manage a two-week road trip around Spain with two young children and a Labrador, then you can too!
When you hire one of our campers, all you need to bring is a bag of clothes and a few groceries – everything else, including the kitchen sink, is included!
Our hope is that by renting out our vans, we can give others the opportunity to unwind, relax, and explore our beautiful country in comfort and style.
