Westcoast Transporters specializes in creating custom camper van conversions for all types of makes and models. My journey into the world of bespoke camper van conversions began in 2008 when I purchased my first T4 van and decided to tailor it to my specific needs. With a background in joinery, bodywork, and mechanical skills, I found myself at an advantage for the project.
Initially, it started as a personal hobby. The T4 van I acquired was in poor condition, originally serving as a worn-out builders' vehicle. I had to undertake extensive repairs and welding on many panels before even considering the possibility of painting it. Through perseverance and hard work, I eventually reached the stage of painting the van. It was during this process that my passion for T4 vans and bespoke camper van conversions evolved into a business endeavor.
