We're a compact team comprised of Dee, Simon, and our beloved dog, Penny. Our journey into van life commenced in 2014, when we embarked on an unforgettable adventure across Europe and Northern Africa in our meticulously crafted campervan.
Since our initial encounter in 2005, we've shared a deep-seated passion for camping and immersing ourselves in the wonders of the natural world. Our early years together involved pitching tents amidst forests, fields, and riverside locales across Hampshire, Wiltshire, and Dorset. Our primary objective was always consistent: to seek out the nearest wilderness and forge a profound connection with nature.
Driven by an ever-expanding wanderlust, we yearned to explore farther afield and dedicate more time to adventurous pursuits. After much contemplation, we arrived at the perfect solution – the acquisition of a campervan!
Thus, Wild Van was conceived. In 2014, we procured our inaugural van, an L3H2 Fiat Ducato. Leveraging Simon's expertise in design and engineering, we transformed it into our envisioned home-on-wheels.
